Tubeless, briefly
Tubeless setups run without an inner tube, using sealant to hold air and seal small punctures. They allow lower pressures and improved comfort and grip, at the cost of a slightly more involved setup.
What you need
- A tubeless-ready wheel — stated in each product specification
- Tubeless-ready tyres
- Rim tape, valves and sealant
Good practice
- Follow the manufacturer maximum pressure
- Top up sealant periodically
- Carry a tube and a means of inflation on long rides
If you are not comfortable setting tubeless up, have it done by a mechanic.
